Frequently AskED Questions

One feature that we’re really excited about is enhanced card controls—the ability to turn your cards on and off, additional card alerts, card activation, PIN management, and the ability to send a new card number straight to your wallet—all from inside the app. There will also be some new Financial Wellness tools. We’ll share more as we get closer to the official upgrade.
We’re very excited to share that you won’t have to download a new app. If your app doesn’t update automatically, you’ll just need to go into your apps and update it manually.

The upgrade is scheduled for July/August, and we’ll share exact dates as we get closer. There’s nothing you’ll need to do, but we recommend checking that your contact information is up-to-date. Your app should update automatically, unless you’ve disabled that setting—in which case you’ll need to update it manually. There may be a very brief period of downtime on the day of the transition, but we’ll notify you in advance.

No. You’ll continue to have access to your full account details, including transactions from the last 12 months and statements from the past 2 years.
Yes, any scheduled or recurring transfers will continue to transfer as normal. We encourage you to verify that everything carried over accurately after the upgrade.

The alerts that you currently have set up will not carry over. However, we’re excited to share that the upgrade will come with even more customization to help you manage your account better than ever.

All the great features you love from the Card Monitor + app are being moved into the CCU Mobile Banking app. That means no more juggling between two apps—you’ll have everything you need in one convenient place! After the upgrade, the Card Monitor + app will be retired, so please turn off any card control settings you’ve set up and delete the app from your devices.

Please note: Alerts from CCU Card Monitor + will stop after the Digital Banking Upgrade. However, if you have any of these card controls set up, you will need to manually turn them off before deleting the app:

  • Decline online transactions
  • Decline international transactions
  • Decline ATM transactions
  • Set transaction limit (All transactions at or above set amount will be declined)
