As our membership in Louisville continues to grow, we've noticed a trend: many members prefer our digital channels, like mobile banking, and frequently visit our various branches. However, there is one branch that hasn't been as popular.

Market Street Branch Closure

Due to a lack of usage, we will be closing the Market Street branch, located at 900 West Market Street, at the close of business on August 31, 2024. Team members from this branch will be transferred to other branches to continue serving you.

We understand that this closure may cause some inconvenience, but rest assured, there are options for you that are still close by. The next closest branches to this location will be our St. Matthews Branch and our Cane Run Branch. Our St. Matthews branch is just 13 minutes from the Market Street Branch and our Cane Run Branch is only 11 minutes from the Market Street Branch.

After a thorough evaluation of branch activity, the decision was made to close the branch due to a lack of member usage. This decision was not made lightly, but it was necessary in order to be good stewards of our members' money.

No, there will be no changes to your account numbers or routing information. All your account details will remain the same, and you can continue to use your existing checks, accounts, cards, and other tools without interruption.
Yes, you can continue to use your checks, debit card, and credit card as usual. The closure of the Market Street Branch will not affect the functionality of these banking tools, and you can carry on with your transactions and payments without any changes.
All loan applications and ongoing transactions will continue to be handled smoothly through our other branches, online services, and digital banking app.
