Election Information

The election to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors will take place at the Annual Meeting, to be held Thursday, January 21, 2010. The Nominating Committee is now accepting suggestions for nominees who are willing and have the ability to serve on the Board. Members interested in being considered for Board positions must submit the following information in writing: name, brief biography and personal qualifications.

IMPORTANT: There are only three requirements that must be met in order to become a candidate for the Board of Directors: 1) A member in good standing; 2) At least 18 years of age or older; and 3) You must state your willingness to serve.

Three people have been appointed to the Nominating Committee: Randy Overstreet, John Scott, Bill Leach

You may return your written information to Randy Overstreet, Chair of the Nominating Committee, P.O. Box 950, Frankfort, KY 40602-0950, no later than October 30, 2009. The Nominating Committee will select names for the ballot from incumbent directors desiring to serve another term and those nominations received.

Nominations for vacancies may also be made by petition signed by at least 25 members. Such nominations shall be filed with the Secretary of the Credit Union, Jim Chadwell, Commonwealth Credit Union, P.O. Box 950, Frankfort, KY 40602-0950, no later than December 1, 2009. The final ballot to be presented will include the Nominating Committee choices and those accepted by petition. The ballot will be posted in the Credit Union Office at least 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting. Nominations from the floor will not be allowed.
