Family is important to our Credit Union. If you are related to a current member or someone who is eligible to join Commonwealth Credit Union, you can also join Commonwealth Credit Union. Relatives include your parents, siblings, children, grandparents, grandchildren, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and step-family (regardless of where they live!). Even if you change jobs or move, once you join Commonwealth Credit Union, you can be a member for life. Just keep your account active and in good standing.
How to join
- Once you know you're eligible just apply online. You can use the same form to apply for additional services, such as checking, when you join. You can also stop by any Commonwealth Credit Union branch.
- A $5 minimum deposit into a savings account is needed to be a member. This is not a fee. This is your money and it begins to accrue dividends on the average daily balance immediately.
- To apply for a loan or credit card when you join, simply apply online
