Marketing Coordinator

Commonwealth Credit Union has a full-time position available for a Marketing Coordinator in our Marketing Department in the main office at Frankfort Kentucky. We are looking for a very organized, detailed professional who has good communication skills. They must be knowledgeable, enthusiastic and dedicated in helping with the development and implementation of marketing and advertising programs, both internally and externally.

Requirements of the position include:

  • Minimum of 2 years marketing related experience
  • Advanced knowledge in various PC applications, including desktop publishing, Excel
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be bondable, successfully pass required background screenings and must be able to obtain/maintain required certifications/licenses applicable to position
  • Must annually attend the necessary training, pass examinations, and maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) Policy
  • Valid Driver's License/Good driving record
  • Occasional operation of credit union vehicles may be required
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assist the Marketing Director with development and implementation of the overall marketing plan. Collaborates with others to reinforce the marketing and advertising schedule of special projects/research to maximize effectiveness of credit union image and support goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate activities between the Credit Union and any marketing agency, mailing/printing agency, media groups and other third party vendors. Maintain a constant check on in-progress flow to meet deadlines. Communicates with media representatives to assure target audience is addressed.
  • Schedule, coordinate and communicate with Advisory Committees regarding monthly meetings.
  • Communicate with various media contacts via Press Releases of upcoming events, notifications.
  • Continually look for ways to improve productivity - via new ideas and expense control methods - in order to improve job/departmental efficiency. Researches problems/opportunities and becomes creative by developing possible solutions/ideas.
  • Maintain and compile monthly statistics of related marketing reports to present results/findings from third party vendor projects.
  • Recognizes when marketing material(s) should be adjusted to avoid misinformation to the member. Maintain and file records of all printed materials of all promotions, specials to ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and files are complete.
  • Assists with various internal and external surveys to help our credit union stay aware of necessary changes to products and services.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing supplies and materials. Determine when to obtain quotes and reorder to replenish inventories.
  • Communicates effectively and provides necessary tools to staff to allow them to market our products/services. Fulfills requests of staff within 48 hours to give exceptional "team" service.
  • Requires that some lifting and/or carrying of materials, displays and small objects (no more than 20 lbs.). While mostly a sedentary position a certain amount of walking, standing, lifting, pushing and pulling is necessary, particularly during marketing events.

Part-time Teller Positions

Commonwealth Credit Union has several part-time Teller positions available in the Frankfort, Lexington, Georgetown and Lawrenceburg Branch Offices. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals to join our team! Duties include but are not limited to: provide top quality service to our members and accurately perform financial transactions on their accounts/loans, effectively meet our member’s needs by cross selling credit union products and services, work in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality and accuracy in daily functions, represent the credit union in a professional and positive manner, work well with others in a team environment.

Part time associates are scheduled to work up to 20 hours per week and Saturday hours are required. Candidates must be flexible in their schedules and may be asked to work at other branch locations as needed.
